Blake Coddington is the Founder and Principal of VOLARE Housing Group, a Los Angeles–based real estate advisory firm specializing in the financing and development of multifamily affordable and attainable housing. With more than 16 years of experience in Southern California, Blake advises developers, public agencies, and mission-driven organizations on feasibility, capital structuring, and project execution.

Blake approaches affordable housing with both conviction and realism. While public-sector processes can be complex, they are essential to delivering housing solutions that the private market alone cannot achieve. By efficiently navigating these systems, Blake helps teams access layered financing structures that support populations often overlooked in conventional development—including seniors, families, veterans, and transitional-aged youth.

Prior to founding VOLARE Housing Group, Blake held senior leadership roles at Primestor, Caruso, and Thomas Safran & Associates, leading projects involving LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, and public-private partnerships.

Blake holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Management, and Planning with a real estate development concentration from the University of Southern California.
